I have played countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
