I have bet on countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
