I have gambled on countless of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
