I have wagered on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
