I have wagered on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
